NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The City of Demorest Planning Commission will hear the following requests on January 25, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at 125 Ivy Street, Demorest, Georgia 30535 and the Demorest City Council shall hear the requests on February 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the same place:

Application for Annexation and Rezoning:

081 021– Property located at 1056 Historic Hwy. 441, Demorest, GA. CD II Properties LLC has made a request to annex property into the City of Demorest and to rezone the property from (HI) High Intensity District to (HI) High Intensity performance district. The Habersham County tax parcel number for this property is 081 021.

081 018– Property located at 1056 Historic Hwy. 441, Demorest, GA. CD II Properties LLC has made a request to annex property into the City of Demorest and to rezone the property from (HI) High Intensity District to (HI) High Intensity performance district. If you want to speak in favor or opposition to any application, then please contact City Hall for a Campaign Disclosure Form that must be completed and filed with the City Clerk before the hearing if you have made campaign contributions in the amount of $250.00 or more to any member of the City Council within two years before the date of the hearing.
